GMB Fitness is coming to the Palo Alto, California area this September for a special 2-day movement seminar!
All levels welcome. No previous GMB experience required.
This is a rare chance to work with all three GMB Founders at once. Ryan, Jarlo, and Andy have many years of teaching expereience with thousands of clients, and they’ll be joined by GMB Lead Trainer Rose Calucchia for this event, so you’ll be sure to get personalized attention and help adjusting the seminar content to your own level and needs.
We’ll be showing you concepts that bring more autonomy to your physical life along with practice strategies and practical techniques for getting the most out of every exercise. Where a lot of fitness seminars and workshops are focused on showing how cool and creative the coach is, our ONLY goal is to teach you concepts and technique that you can safely and reliably APPLY to your own life.
Expect to work hard, take notes, and ask lots of questions.
You’ll walk away from this event with a deeper understanding of how strength, flexibility, and motor control fit together, and most importantly, you’ll know what it feel slike to practice the right way.
There’s no substitute for direct experience with a great teacher.

-Defining physical autonomy
-BLAMs: Basic Locomotor Assessment Movements
-How to use ground-based movements to assess your weaknesses and restrictions
-Addressing physical limitations with directed exercise variation
-Movement exploration and application
-BAPs: Basic Assessment Positions for isolating mobility issues
-Focused Flexibility protocol and exercise selection
Day 2 Outline:
-Autoregulatory training concepts
-Handstands: strength, mobility, and skill development
-Skill based strength training
-RRSB: Ryan’s secret weapon rings exercise
-Exercise progression, variation, and regression
-Applying self-knowledge to developing your fitness
-GMB Conditioning Protocol and Application
Throughout the event, we’ll A any Qs that come up and give each participant plenty of personal instruction and assistance to ensure you’re able to work at the right level and maximise your learning.
